Comment: That could be really easy to submit the really good theme relating with this topic with support of article submit service, but very oft some people choose article submission sites. Thence I do not really know what is the best.

Comment: Hi...Nice to come to this site...It brings nostalgic memmories...I was a student from 04th to 08th std way back in 1960s and still the sea and the smell of the wind still lingers in my heart after somany years. The respect and fear for our Late Rev. Fr. Pathiyil with his cane walking around and distributing progress card etc is a beautiful feeling. Still remembers Merlyn Teacher, Balan Master, Jockey Sir. Revathy Teacher is remembered with awe as she hits the knuckles with her scale if we do any mischief. My father was Sub Collector and I had the pleasure of staying in the Bunglow adjacent to the school....I had visited the school just to have a look at it while driving from Trichur to Kannur. I remember few of my close freinds, E. Suresh who was always no. 1 in class, Pushparaj, Pradeep, Patrick (son of Jockey sir) Anyways wish all the present students a bright future and hope they will carry forward the good name of the school further..........
Comment: Continuing from my previous notes....the other teachers were Augustine master, Phillip master, Jaison Master (he was there only for short duration) and very eminent office staff like Josephine, Kannettan, Johnny, Damu ettan and others whose names I am not able to recollect now.

Comment: I was a student of St. Joseph's from 1969 to 1974. We had very eminent teaches at that time like Revathi teacher who was my class teacher in 5th Std. A, Soumini teacher Class teacher of 6th Std, Merly teacher (Merlin Morris), Chathu Master, Kunhi Kannan Master (Malayalam Pandit), Lakshmanan Master, Chacko Master (craft teacher), Radhakrishnan master, Lakshmanan Master, Sreekumaran Master, Sukumaran Master, Appu Master (Hindi), Peter master (Hindi), Raghavan Master, Anandan Master (Science), Venkateswara Iyer, Subbarama Iyer, not forgetting Kousalya teacher, Ammukkutty teacher, Kalyanikutty teacher, Umadevi teacher, Adiyodi master, Ratnakaran Master, not to forget Rev. Fr. George Pahtiyil. We got the good foundation of our education and life under the training and guidance of these eminent teachers. We owe gratitude to these teachers and we are all in good positions in our life/society is only because of these great teachers. As a tribute to these teachers, please include their photos in the Gallery section with a brief write-up. Thanks, Sriram
Comment: The school was situated in a proper place with a Chappel and a sea on either side- ideal place for a student for self-development with the grace of nature and God altogether. It was like a heaven for me.
Comment: Great work! I am a pass out of 1977 batch. Names of great teachers like Balan, Sukumaran, Sreekumaran, Adiyodi, Peter, Appuji, Kausaliya, Kallyani Kutty, Umadevi, Kunhi Krishnan Pandit, O Krishnan are a few that come to my mind who really shaped us, under the visionary leadership of Fr George Pathiyil.
I would love to reestablish contact with my batchmates. Very few I am in touch with.
Comment: I visited the site purely out of curiosity and in memory of my late father: K.P Mohan Raj, who is an ancient alumni of the esteemed school. When we were kids, he used to tell us that he was a part of the school cricket team ( 1950s maybe). He went to complete his studies at Brennen college TLY.As a kid(1980), when I visited TLY we were on a whirlwind visit and couldn't make it to the school compound but dad pointed out at the school from afar. It looked good then.... and it still looks good...excellent. Dad passed away much before the internet era.Else, he too would have enjoyed visiting the site.
Comment: The school is great! It is amazing it has such a long history! I've found a video here:http://www.videorolls.com/watch/St-Joseph-s-School-Bram ulla-The-Summer-Of-69-By-Sy but I'm not sure it is it. It would be great to see the original video.

Comment: Thanks for those who constructed this site. I am from 1972 SSLC batch. We had great teachers, Sukumaran, Peter, Balan Mash, Ratnakaran and others. Any one from my batch here???
Comment: Hi, I belong to the 1990 SSLC batch. I was going through the achievements and found an error. Prem Venugopal has been mentioned as 11th rank holder in 1992. He actually secured 10th rank in 1990 SSLC. Please make the necessary correction.

Comment: The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

Comment: I think that you have to be awarded by the thesis service for your useful story just about this good post. Not lots of people would be able to finish the same quality management thesis.
Comment: This need very long time to get more ideas about this post thus, the essay writers would assist one to find the right pre written essays or to buy custom essay papers.
Comment: I think that to receive the personal loans from creditors you ought to present a good reason. Nevertheless, one time I've received a small business loan, just because I wanted to buy a house.
its a very important & interesting observation you have made about the history of our beloved school. we should get more details to announce it officially. By the way where are you located? I am in Dubai.
I 100% agree with what Deepak Sivdas has said. I had studied in St. Joseph's from 1990-1995. Truly, I am blessed to have attended the classes of my favorite teachers like my beloved Yeena Gonsalves teacher, Agnes teacher, Reena teacher (Honoreena Brenda Mendonza who is my most favorite and respected teacher), Kamala teacher, Mathew Mariadas mash (I still remember how sweetly he used to sing Mohd. Raffi's famous song 'Chahunga Main Tujhe ...'), Alice teacher, Johnson mash and Chackochan mash, Markose mash, Helen teacher, Vincent Mash (if you want to enjoy history, you need to sit in his class), Thresiamma teacher, Ramendran mash, Rosamma teacher, Sukumaran mash, Benny Francis mash, Denny mash, Louis mash, Balakrishnan mash (craft) and Balakrishnan mash (Hindi) and so many great teachers. If I have become anything, they are all the reasons. I still remember Agnes teacher forcing me to take part in competitions and a passion for proper pronunciation of English was instilled in me by my Yeena teacher. My flair towards Science was developed because of my Honoreena teacher and Agnes teacher. Markose mash showed me how interesting learning can be made. I wanted to tell a lot about each and every teacher I have mentioned here.
The school was situated in a proper place with a Chappel and a sea on either side- ideal place for a student for self-development with the grace of nature and God altogether. It was like a heaven for me.
If given a boon, I would always love to go back to those periods in my life with my friends so that I can sit in the classes of all the aforementioned beloved teachers.
Today, I am a software engineer working in USA and for what I am now, I am indebted to my teachers in St.Joseph's. Still I proudly tell my friends and colleagues about my good old days in St Joseph's High School and the great teachers under whom I had been blessed to study.
Comment: Memories never die. It is nice to see the web pages of the school where I was a student from 1969 to 1973. I still remember all the teachers, and Fr.George Pathyil. Sad to hear that he passed away. It was breathtaking moments when we present the progress record after the exams. Those good olden days. Few other teachers, viz. Balan Master, Sukumarn Master, Umadevi Teacher, etc. are still in the memories. Ofcourse there are other teachers also who really wanted to students to come up in life. Best wishes to those involved in creating this fantastic website.
Comment: I saw one comment written by Asif regarding his schooldays. Yes how can we forget teachers like Sukumaran master Sreekumaran master Jayan master Balan master and especially Markose master. The sweet thenundas keyis kayittadi and cheth ice.there was a tough competition between keyi and kunhiraman. Rainy season was really interesting for us as our classes were facing the sea. we use to play in the rain.I still remember those wonderful days of youthfestivals I always use to get some prizes for painting competitions.all these happenings inspired me a lot in my life. whenever I go for vacation I want to visit my school and meet my teachers if they are still teaching there. Please try to inform me through my mail if ever anyone is conducting any alumni programmes.
Comment: I 'm proud to be an alumni of St Josephs boys High School Presently working in Dubai as a graphic Designer.Peeping into this site I m just remembering my schooldays Thank you for creating this site as this site evoked my sweet memories of my schooldays
Comment: Hi Friends, The school is 400 yrs old since inception. As a tribute we the alumni organise an event.I am yet to find a school with such a history. All indian borders like schools in Calcutta,Shimla,Kodaikanal, ooty have only 200 yrs history. We need to get this message going and organise.
O God, the beginning and the end of all things, Who art always the same, and Whose years fail not, we now, at the close of another year, kneel in adoration before Thee, and offer Thee our deepest thanks for the fatherly care with which Thou has watched over us during the past, for the many times Thou hast protected us from evils of soul and body, and for the numberless blessings, both temporal and spiritual, which Thou hast showered upon us. May it please Thee to accept the homage of our grateful hearts which we offer Thee in union with the infinite thanksgiving of Thy divine Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, Who with Thee liveth and reigneth forever and ever. Amen.
Comment: Every vacation i go to Kerala, I make sure i visit my school. i would say the best school in the world. how can you forget the windows which dances in the wind? how can you forget the rain sprays to your heart? valsan mash, sukumaran mash, ravindran, balan mash, lakshmanan mash etc.........i doubt if any school in the world has such a beautiful location. last time when i visited school dineshan mash was the principal of st josphs hss. he pulled a chair & asked me to sit there. the room we used to enter with anxiety. do you remember kunhiraman who sells thenunda & sabar jilli? what about keyi who sells ice? even baskin robbins cant compete with Assookkas kayi ittadi. do you know when you forget any thing in the school, after 5 in the eve, its really lonely & scary place. do you remember craftroom where balakrishnan mash will show how to weave clothes? the list goes on. thanks for making such website. keep it up. i think it should provide a place to meet for the all former students like batchmates.com.
Comment: good work. and denny sir,,.. great to know you are inspiring the new generation as well.... would love to come to scholl some day for some program
Comment: I am a proud alumni of St. Josephs High School (1966-72)and I strongly believe that the work ethics instilled in me by many, if not all, of the teachers of St. Josephs High School have served me well for the entirety of my life since then. I am saddened to hear the passing of Fr. George Pathiyil and Sukumaran Master. I was an eighth grader when Sukumarn Master joined our school and taught us science and I distinctly remember getting fascinated by chemistry when he taught us about various elements etc. I am proud to say that the interest in the subject instilled in me has led to my completing a Ph. D. in Chemistry from Canada and eventually to my Profession as an University Professor in the United States. Many thanks to Sukumaran Master. Fr. Pathiyil has also played a significant role in shaping my life, especially in the arena of discipline. The mentoring I received from many other teachers including Balan Master, late Ratnakaranmaster, sreekumaran master etc. are also noteworthy and I thank them all

I would say, they taught me, therefore, I am. Comment: In the gallery section, there is an error. The school cricket team won the state championship in late 1981 or early 1982, and not 1979 as given in the caption below the photo of the winning team.

I leaft SJBHS in 1974. Pretty long time ago. I still remember everyone I associated while I was there. Almost everyone.
Who can forget Fr. George Pathiyil and the faculty team worked under him. All of them were gems.
As I was actively involved in theatre activities, Mr.E. Y. George was my idol. Balan Master, Rathnakaran Master, Sreekumaran Master.... the list is endless. Everyone played their role in moulding our future.
Friends, I request you to make the 'Former Students' list more elaborate. There are many people who attained enviable positions in their own selected fields. I know it is a very difficult task, yet it is worth doing.
Please also add a section of Retired Faculty with their contact details.
Once again, Thank you for everything SJBS gave me.

V.P.Lekshmanan (Maths and Head master), Adiyodi(Hindi), Ramachandran (maths and Headmaster), Jayan Master (malayalam). These teachers defenitely influnced and molded the minds of many of during the late 1980's. I heard this site is maintained by the students. Wonderful work. Keep up the spirits. St. Josephs' school and the teachers(to mention a few - Markos master, Sukumaran Master, Sreekumaran Master and many others) of my times in school certainly has played a big part in the wonderful career I am leading today.
Hope the spirits are always up and do maintain the site properly.
I suggest to start an Alumni section in the site which is maintained by the management posting about the activities and if possible some get togethers.
Comment: Appreciate the effort behind this noble venture. It is tough to describe the feeilng after seeing those clippings of our school after so long. Do make this portal more interactive with alumni columns batch wise etc. Contrats to all those behind this great idea. It indeed a wonderful feeling browsing through the pics sitting at some remote corner
Comment: I have studied in this school SSLC BATCH 1996, am congradulating all the people who work for this site. This is help for us to review the memories of the school....
Comment: MY BLESSINGS TO THOSE WHO HAVE PUT SO MUCH OF HARDSHIP TO DEVELOP SUCH AN EXCELLENT SITE . I SUGGEST TO KEEP CLASS MATES GROUP PHOTOGRAPHS WHICH COULD BE IN SCHOOL RECORDS.
Keep updating the website with latest news and once in a while change the layout of the website so that people will like to visit the website again and again.
Try to remove the background in the comment section since it finds difficult to read the comments by the visitors.

Comment: Hi every one, my dad had studied in this school. I've heard lot about this school and so along with my father i too am proud to have such a wonderful school in thallessery!
Comment: hi, no words to describe what i have felt when I visited the school website and especially the photos. But frankly i still love our old st.joseph's with ample space for basketball court and the gallery. I wish if someone can post the photos of the "kattadi maram's" next to the gallery. Time passes fast. Many of the current students will become ex-students. And many of the ex-students will become older. It would be a wonderful idea if someone can take care of hosting a alumini database or a get together. Arun Kandoth
It was a real pleasure to know that atlast there is a website for our school.
This place means a lot to many of us. I left school in the year 1993. More than 13 years to be exact. But one thing I can say for sure, I do miss my school life. If given a chance to go back to a school of my choice I won't have to think even for a second. It has got to be St. Josephs Boys High School ( The name St. Josephs Higher Secondary School is hard to come for me atleast). In my memmory I still can see clearly, St. JBHS written so painstakingly on each and every name stickers on my Text and Note Books. Our school has changed like anything. I still remember Jayan Sir conducting NCC Drill in the old play ground where the new buildings stands at present, My class teacher of 5th - Markose Sir - my first year in school, Kallyani Kutty Teacher - my class teacher of 6th, Kamala Teacher - class teacher of 7th, Benny sir - class teacher of 8th, Ramachandran sir - class teacher of 9th. Those where good old times. Johnson Sir and Chackochan Sir - the PT Duo are unforgettable. My favourite though is still Markose Sir and kallyani Kutty teacher.
Well Guys, now school life may seem to be a prison for you. But after many years, when you will look back, take my word for it, this period will be the most remarkable period in your life. You may hate or adore your teachers but years on you cannot but admire them for what they did to you. After school all of you will be flying to your next destination but you are not going to forget what you got from your school days. The closest friends I still have are from my school days. I am now a well settled adult but still I think many a times to sit in front of my school teachers. This is not limited not only to me but all of my age.
Any way guys kudos to those who have put the pains to develop such a wonderful website. Only one request I have is that, do add a space in here for creating database for alumni's to join and browse each other.
Comment: give some importance to the sports achievements, put some photos of school team winners including sub-juniors,juniors,seniors etc of previous years.otherwise it is great to see my school.i had completed my 10th from here in 2002.
